3AC Loses To 75TH RR On SMDM As Axis. 2-3

Please read a special message from our 1SGT Knoxy... "I have never felt so defeated in all my life. We were marching towards St. Marie Du Mont with the objective to establish an advanced airborne (AA) network on the outskirts of Normandy. The plan was to secure our perimeter and provide aerial protection from any potential enemy attacks. However, as we entered the town, we were met with overwhelming resistance from the American forces. The town was in shambles, with buildings destroyed and bodies scattered all around. The sounds of explosions and gunfire filled the air as we tried to push forward. We were heavily outnumbered, but we fought with all our might, determined not to give up without a fight. As we approached the AA network location, we came face to face with the American forces. It was a fierce battle that lasted for hours. The sound of bullets whizzing past us and the smell of gunpowder filled the air. We fought valiantly, but in the end, we were forced to retreat. I can't help but feel disappointed in myself and my fellow soldiers. We gave it our all, but it just wasn't enough. We lost many men that day, and I fear we may lose more before this war is over. But I know we must keep fighting, for the sake of our country and our people. We will regroup and plan our next move. We cannot give up hope. This war may be long and hard, but we will fight until the very end."
